Nottingham Music Development Curriculum Support

Services that we offer include:

1. Advice, training and support for:

* Non-specialist KS1 and 2 teachers
* KS 2-3 Transition projects
* Schemes of work
* Planning, progression, teaching methods & assessment
* Music resources
* Using music technology
* Using world musics as part of the curriculum
* Vocal technique and repertoire
* Developing pupils composing skills
* Applying National Curriculum levels
* Delivering and raising achievement at GCSE, AS/A2 level and with vocational courses
* Presenting, recording and marking examination coursework
* Establishing, maintaining and finding suitable music for ensembles in school
* New areas of the GCE and A level music curriculum (eg salsa, bhangra, samba, club dance remix, film music)
* Accessing higher education
